Braun Strowman WWE RAW return 2022

 A return to form for Braun Strowman. The monstrous man continued his destructive rampage through WWE Raw on the first Monday of 2022 in the same manner as he had in 2021. After 14 months away from the WWE spotlight, Strowman has back. The former WWE global champion has now eliminated eight WWE Superstars and has pledged to continue wreaking havoc on SmackDown.

Elsewhere on the show, The Miz locked himself in a steel cage to escape Dexter Lumis, only to be cornered by his greatest nightmares. The main event saw Bobby Lashley challenging The Miz for the U.S. title. For the entirety of the event at T-Mobile Arena in Kansas City, Missouri, CBS Sports was there to bring you highlights and recaps.

In the not-too-distant future, WWE fans may be able to get their money back if they purchased tickets to see Control Your Narrative when it comes to their city. Why? Well, Braun Strownman has shown up on RAW after supposedly being in talks to return to the organisation in recent weeks, and this comes after he watched Karrion Kross make the transition from CYN to WWE and become an ever-present thorn in the side of Drew McIntyre.

The four-team, interpromotional battle to determine who would challenge The Usos for the WWE Tag Team Championships seemed like an innocuous enough way to start. It seemed like a lot of fun was in store for spectators in Kansas City who wanted to be delighted by some sports-related in-ring activity, as New Day, Alpha Academy, Los Lotharios, and Street Profits had all travelled there to contend for the cross-brand titles.

After tagging in both members of the New Day, things quickly descended into chaos, with the New Day duo hitting stereo Topé con Hilos and Angelo Dawkins running wild on any performer who got in his way. This led to a very entertaining spot in which Xavier Woods allowed himself to be pinned by Kofi Kingston, allowing their team to collectively win the belts.

On the other hand, when the song of a certain previous superstar came over the PA, the crowd went wild for something genuinely fascinating. While the Fatal 4-Way tag team bout between The New Day, The Street Profits, Alpha Academy, and Los Lotharios was enjoyable overall, Braun Strowman's return ruined the show.

PWInsider (via Wrestling Inc.) reported that Strowman would be making his WWE return on the following week's episode of Raw, and Triple H confirmed that he had spoken to Strowman during a recent interview with BT Sport's Ariel Helwani.
